Note reading

Here's a few tips for reading notes from sheet music.

• you can always spot middle C - 1 line through the middle of the note in the middle of the clefs
• it's easy to memorise the spaces:
  • F.A.C.E. for treble clef
  • A.C.E.G. for bass clef (All Cows Eat Grass)
• when reading a melody or phrase: once you know the start note, look for steps and skips
