Dynamics are the volume of music - usually shown by abbreviations from this range:
- pp - pianissimo - very soft
- p - piano - soft
- mp - mezzo piano - medium soft
- mf - mezzo forte - medium loud
- f - forte - loud
- ff - fortissimo - very loud
